"You shall also be so beautiful and properous... a crown of glory and honour in the hand of the Lord..."

You don't have to know me to know my story.
I only need an audience that is faithful to follow my story.
It only take a second to see me.
But a hundred years to know me.
It only take 3 seconds to leave an impression.
But only a minute for me to treat you like my best friend.
What is your place in my life?
It is up to you to decide and I to make a decision.

Information

Unhappiness in relationships, according to Dr. Gary Chapman, is often due to the fact that we speak different love languages. Sometimes we don't understand our partner's requirements, or even our own. We all have a "love tank" that needs to be filled in order for us to express love to others, but there are different means by which our tank can be filled, and there are different ways that we can express love to others.

Simple Simple Life
Friday, October 31, 2008

If I has to make a wish, I wish upon the heaven to give me a simple simple life, where I will be living in at a countryside somewhere in New Zealand with cows or cats or domestic animals to be my companion.

If I has to make a wish, I wish upon the heaven to give me a simple simple life, where I will be living in a fantasy forest with fairies as my friends and the heaven as my lifetime companion.

If I has to make a wish, I wish upon the heaven to give me a simple simple life, where people won't fight for wealth and we lives without sins and with Jesus forever and ever.

The first two wishes sound too fantasy but the 3rd one is just a matter of time.

Right now, I just want a simple simple life whereby people living in fears of recession, yet I can face life with a smile.

This world is never simple and is not meant to be simple.

Yet, I still wish...

Life can just be simple...

A Penny for My Thoughts
Wednesday, October 29, 2008

I wonder...

How has we every really thought about our life?

Someone once asked me, even in church, if you never found a best friend, will you still serve God?

When I got saved, one of the decision I has to make is, even when no friends accept Jesus, even when friends let go of Jesus, can I really live without Him?

Tears that I never shed for others, I shed for Jesus.

Tears that I never know it existed, it came as I looked upon Jesus and shared my problems.

Jesus, take away all pains, even when my friend argued me for placing church and fellow siblings-in-Christ in a higher place, I still will say, it better to lose a friend, then to lose those precious moments of renewing of my strength in a godly fellowship.

I will move on and I shall move on from here.

A beginning for real...

Missing...
Sunday, October 26, 2008

It felt like something precious has been missing in my life.

After the separation of the zone, for a moment, what was real to me, became something unreal.

Losing in the thoughts of the old days, I starting to wonder, no matter how much I loves to be under LYL, forever a GTZ is always a GTZ.

Gabriel, my BS teacher, my ZS and also someone who had talked to me and solved my questions, in BS study lessons.

After moments of happy times with Ru Lan, Rena, Rina, Jolene, Jasmine and Irene, I starting to miss GT again.

Knowing so many people and all, I can't help but wish I can has a copy of every memories.

Will you remember me?

I surely will keep this part of memories with me even when I become a leader and also fulfill my vision.

Dream never fail...

Finally
Tuesday, October 21, 2008

Finally I submitted my resume to Val for a position at NUS.

As?

Managing Office.

She has been asking me to submit my resume but the current job that I has is contract based thus I was hesitated but nonetheless I finally submit my resume.

Given a talent and a passion and a vision, I decided, just go ahead of it first since Val reassured me many times and even though she said she is naggy but because of her constant reminder, I decided to send it.

Right now, many people don't has a job but for me, I can say, God really has been bringing job opportunities to me yet some of those I got to let go because of this contract based job.

But nonetheless, building fund is coming and I can believe God will give me a good pay job.

Ask and it shall be given back to you.

Ganbatte!

Lost and FOUND!
Sunday, October 19, 2008

In my 4 years in church, I had sometimes being careful and lost my stuffs.

To say the true, to lost things in church is nothing special since we are taught to be a good steward of God and never steal so to lost things in CHURCH, the chances of us finding it bad it almost 100%, notice, almost 100% not surely 100% as there is still a chance of you losing your stuffs and forever saying goodbye to it.

This is my 3rd time losing something.

1st time: I left my NIV bible underneath the chair and I just happily walked off without noticed that I had left my bible behind. And the next day, which was a Sunday, as I needed to look for a verse, SUDDENLY, I can't find my NIV bible anywhere! I needed to use it to highlight a verse. I got a NKJV one but NKJV one is full of highlighted verses and the NIV one I needed to fill it with highlighted verses and now! It was gone. Panicked yet still wanna to appear calm, I smsed my member and in the end, no result so the following week I went to the receptionist and searched through a box full of bibles and other weird weird stuffs and my poor BIBLE was being pressed down, "shaken" by other gigantic bibles! And my poor bible got a link across the leather cover. My heart broke, and I was so sad for that one whole day. And I told myself, I gonna protect my Bible.

2nd time: I was at church cafe after PM and that day, though SOT had no school but due to morning PM, we all needed to attend it. After which, it was our free time and we were free to do some catch up with Bible reading. I was with George Livingstone, Henry and also Robbie and was thinking of reading bible but being a talkative girl when Robbie started to talk, I left my bible aside on the table and started to talk and after which left the place in a midst to go and print my assignment. And silly me, I happily leave the place once against without my bible. This time round was my NLT BIBLE!!!

I only discovered it when I reached home and my first thought was, maybe Pearly had it. And true to what God said, the next day, Pearly asked Kai Yun to pass me my bible as it seemed that I leave my bible and someone picked it up and passed it to her. Thanks God for protecting my bible!

Maybe because I only said I will protect my NIV bible and not the NLT that why it was lost!

Finally! Today for the 3rd time, I didn't lost my Bible, I lost my wallet instead. I was planning to draw money and out of the suddenly, my bag seemed so "light" and my wallet was nowhere to be found. I got panicked thinking about my cards and ez-link card that is Sun's fan club membership card and I leave my laptop with my member and ran back to church!

Went to auditorium and searched through the rows with no result, went to the receptionist and the person said so sorry, no wallet was being received and asked me to write my contact. I was thinking, no wallet, meant don't need to go home, and I called Elijah to explain why I was missing and out of the blue, a lady came with some lost and found items and my wallet was on top of a bible!

God, loves You!

I found my wallet and God, really protects my stuffs. =D

Now I told myself, check everything before leaving the place.

Now my bible is in my laptop so I must check my laptop is with me before I walk off and now, I need to check for wallet...

Well, lost and found...

The feeling of found something important is precious than anything else isn't it.

Amazing
Saturday, October 18, 2008

God always works in amazing ways.

Through people, through pictures, through words, through various things that is beyond our imagination.

After switching zone from GT to LYL when Gabriel is called to the marketplace, for a moment, I was calm and lost at words.

Even though I had heard Gabriel shared about the marketplace 2 years ago when I was still in his bible study group yet to see it happened, I never thought it will be so soon.

I glad to be in Yilun's zone, that is definitely, a great woman of God and I always wanted to has a true role model of a woman ZS for me to follow after but to see myself no longer under the care of Gabriel, I really didn't know how fast God really works in term of fulfilling visions and dreams.

Members of my previous zone came to me, telling me how sad it was for the zone to be disbanded and how many people cried. In my heart, I always in a transition period yet it seem like God is starting to do His works in my life as the next one year is gonna be a year of continuous breakthrough yet to see GT separated, it was something I can't get used to.

Saw Michelle, Isabel and Hui Zhen at City Hall on thurs, I was so happy. Michelle, my ex-zone CGL, and my ex-colleague, I always called her Koala secretly yet I enjoyed hearing her sharing and I always remember the word that she gave about me before I decided to go to SOT to see what God planned for my life. For a moment, we were talking about cosmetics as I brought some from Bobby's wife, Cindy, and Michelle was asking me to get some for her and she said, even though we are different zone but we carried the same DNA of GT zone and I bursted out that we will never forget our root and where we come from.

GT zone was a zone where many things had happened that took my life through a ride of roller coastal yet the love of Gabriel that he carried for his sons and daughters really touches our heart.

And yesterday as I was getting all pumped up for "The Edge", I mentioned about my ex-zone and out of the blue, I starting to get emotional again. As I talked about my ex-zone with Val, in my heart, I really don't know what to say. Great changes this situation brought forth, and I happy to be under a female ZS that I always admired, yet to let go of a ZS who see my grow up and show through his actions how much he cares for us, I really don't know what to say.

Yet God works in wonderful ways.

I was surprised to see Carrisa when she suddenly popped up during the Edge meeting. She couldn't find her CG and she sat with my CG yet it seem like God planned for me to meet her as after the meeting, I started to confine in her and share with her. It seem like the first time I really shared with her everything and really, I felt so touches to has talk with her. And Carrisa, when you read this post, I enjoys talking to you. =) And tomorrow we are meeting up again and I thanks God for wonderful friend and now zone member like you.

And this morning, Mark was online. He suddenly message me and asked me various things and out of the blue he said, now is sharing time, let share. And before we knew it, the msn connection got cut off and clashed. We were like... And he called me and before we knew it, the phone line got cut off so he called again and just like a few times when I was sharing with my members and all my important words got cut off, we really felt that the devils wanna stop the works of God but we as the children of God will prevail.

We discovered that as we shared, everything that we gone through or going through are similar and it seem like something is cooking up.

Things are accelerating and we are so excited.

Having a new zone, when looks at the call of God, is good as it seem like God is training me for what He is calling me for.

And God answered all my prayers up till now.

Amazing God. Wonderful journey.

God amazed me one time after another and He still amazed me even until today.

I really to grow up and take campuses by storm.

I called not to the Jews but to the Gentiles yet at this moment, I am to serve the Jews till the day the Lord send me forth toward His calling.

God gives me friends that I asked of that will fight warfare with me. And together, we will goes through storms together and come out victoriously.

Like us arise and move forward to the call of God!

The troubles of being a Girl
Friday, October 17, 2008

People said, girls is troublesome. To hear this coming from a girl, you surely received the assurance that we girls can be troublesome.

As girl, we need to think of ways to stop being a tomboy so that we won't be mistaken as a boy instead of a girl. (It is for girl who has a guy's feature. Sad if people can't differential whether they are a girl or a guy.)

As girl, we need to think of ways to earn money. (So that we can buy good facial products, make up, clothing, shoes and endless list of items to doll ourselves up so that our boyfriend/husband will feel a sense of achievement for having a nice-looking girl on top of having a girl who is fun and loving.)

As girl, we need to think of ways to be independent and be ourselves if we don't have a boyfriend. (Enjoying life to the max, yet tolerate the lower income that we will receives compare to guys as survey has shown, girl generally lose 64 cents per hour compare to guy even if their job scope is the same. The world is giving guy especially those going through N.S. more money. Why? Because they need to save up for wife fund.)

As girl, we need to think of ways to stop complaining so much regarding the pain we suffered from high heels after going out for a few hrs. (High heels show forth our long legs. What to do if it make us look pretty. Especially girls look cool is boot!)

Now I getting headache from being girl. Seeing a blog of a 21st girl, having ton of facial wash (different kinds for different purposes), ton of make up...

And suddenly realistic hit me, being a girl is super hard.

I brought stuffs that I lazy to use.

And I even lazy to make up until I got the capacity to do so.

In this world, there is no ugly women, only lazy women... And I am one of them...

Belated Birthday Dedication
Thursday, October 16, 2008

What a belated post dedicated to Ms Carrisa... My buddy + NYP Harvester + Fellow Nursing friend + Current Zone Member...

How funny God can turn out to be?

Since the first day I knew her, she has been sweet, kind, loving and hyper around me.

She heard me sharing jokes then we slowly build up the friendship and sometime, I loves to tease her and she just get more and more hyper.

Finally 21 being one year my senior. Time has been good to her and the Lord has been blessing her. More blessing to come, my girl, and now we are in the same zone, I awaiting you to take care of me. =P

I grabbed this photo from Val's blog. My favourite photo of all. Others will grab it when I'm home. =D

The whole journey of the birthday celebration was so fun. After we hadn't been meeting for so many weeks, this was the only night when most of us gathered together once again to celebrate our beloved birthday coordinator's 21st birthday.

The journey of growing up is never a smooth path, but because of Jesus, you became who you are and you will become who God designate you to be.

2 days before, Val, Eugene and I went and searched for a birthday gift for her. Though the time was limited, we came across a shop called D&C at Far East Plaza and we saw this wonderful boot for her. Lovely, stylist and nice. Just for her. It didn't cost much but we brought her something she really likes.

After which, another 6 of us chipped into another gift, the latest pink color Guess Wallet for us. Plus Eugene brought a neckacle for her and her CG brought a tiara for her, she became a true princess on her birthday.

Carrisa, feel like marry you out to someone. You are up to age already. It's time for us to look for out for. =P

But most of all that night we really enjoyed ourselves.

On our way to the theater, we saw Hello Kitty Uno and since I wanna played Uno so much and Vincent wanna kept himself awake, the whole bunch of us brought a stack of Uno's card.

Afterward, we went and watched House Bunny which Val, Carrisa and I had been wondering was Basil doing well watching this show. We were "so worried" that he would become a dumb blond.

And finally, after past midnight, we were back at Costa Sand Chalet, and all guys were fighting for the washroom. One after another, after half an hour or was it more than that, and after a pillow fight with Val, she finally slept and a few of us started the Uno game.

Carrisa' brother, Luke or Matthew? Can't remember his name, kept losing in the UNO game, Basil was looking at every opportunities to sabo him and I? From winning the first half of the games till losing it when I lose my focus point. Basil was more and more high while we all losing energy and by 4 pm, Rickson and Vincent ended their so called private guitar lesson.

=.= Vincent... The one who wanna played Uno, dumped us and by 4pm, all went to bed, except Basil, Rickson, Carrisa and I...

Well, I could has went to bed, but then I wanna spent time with Carrisa.

By the time, we did return and it was like what? 5 plus going to be 6 and Basil was being so noisy, Rickson was fighting for space at Yu Jie's mattress. And Basil's sining was getting on my nerve and we ended the night with pillow snatching which I won! Poor Rickson? Get kicked out of Yu Jie's bed and he fighting for a corner space with some of us.

Crazy night indeed. How we missed those times...

And once again, Carrisa, we loves you!

Thanks you for a willing heart... =D
